Originally from Seoul, Korean flavours play a large part in Chung Jae’s dishes, a professional Judo player & pilot now turned chef, his passion for cooking is exceptional and unique. His first restaurant was award- winning Mapo in Gouger Street Adelaide, followed by a change of states to NT showcasing Korean for the first time to the Top End Dwellers Little Miss Korea was started. Then making SA base again he opened Seoul Sisters in Adelaide which is café style offering Korean inspired lunches.

Chung Jae’s career in hospitality has had its challenges as in 2015 his kidneys failed and after struggling for almost 2 years he was lucky enough to have a transplant late 2016 and is now a huge advocate for Donate Life and has hosted numerous charitable dinners promoting awareness and raising money for research.

Chung Jae is now overseeing both LMK and Seoul Sisters and will soon release a range of Korean Homewares and DIY Kimchi packs. His humorous personality makes him a great presenter as there is always a lot of laughs by the participants / viewers. His dedication to Judo has been a big part of the dedication and passion he puts into his cooking.
