Cooking the perfect rice

Cooking the perfect rice

The perfect rice begins with soaking and washing before cooking, usually rinsing it around 5 times or until the water becomes clear. The amount of water added can vary depending on many factors but usually double the water to rice.

Now put in your cauldron and start off on a high heat reducing when boiling to the lowest setting and let the rice cook away. This old style cooking will give you the best outcome of a simple dish of steamed rice.

ENJOY!
